Dr. McNeilly was born in Maine and moved to Madison, Connecticut upon the beginning of her teenage years. After graduating from high school, Dr. McNeilly achieved her Bachelor of Science in Pathobiology from the University of Connecticut. During the summers, she gained experience in veterinary hospitals locally, as well as in Midtown and the Upper West Side of Manhattan. After graduating from UCONN, she chose to achieve her higher education from the University of Florida College of Veterinary Medicine (Go Gators!).
Dr. McNeilly’s favorite part of veterinary medicine is nurturing the bond between people and their pets. She encourages owners to become involved and educated advocates for their pet’s care as they journey through each of life’s stages. Her professional interests lie in internal medicine, soft tissue surgery, and geriatric care.
Dr. McNeilly and her fiancé have been together for the past eleven and a half years and will finally be getting married in October 2024! They recently moved from Greenwich to Rowayton and share their home with three rescue pets; a four year old Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retriever (Bonnie Mae) and two four year old domestic shorthair cats (Mable Grace and Maverick James). Outside of work, Dr. McNeilly enjoys cheering on the Florida Gators and spending every moment outside.
She looks forward to forming relationships with clients and caring for their pets for years to come!
